Another Reason Direct Contact is Still Important

Interesting study from Pew Research Center on how people get information about their local communities. Mass media is still very important, but as the media world becomes more and more fragmented, direct communications (like mail!) continues to be a very dependable, and indispensable, vehicle for delivering your message.  The study also provides some good guidance for PR-types on earned media outlets and their effectiveness.
